Wishes

I wish for my blog to be a place of magic.

I wish for it to be a place of connection. Of sharing. Of authenticity.

I wish it will be unique, as we are all unique and that's the magic of encounters.

I wish it also reminds me that in the end we are all the same. And that's the magic of understanding and sharing and love.

I wish my blog is visited by those who want to read it. I wish they'll leave a word, too.

I wish I'll begin a journey through it, of discovery, of creativity, of sharing.

I wish everyone who enters here, feels good and feel the good in all.

Blessings and a smile,

Rita

"You must listen", she said.

So good. Perfect? Perfect. So good.

To watch him live soon would be heaven. More songs from Tobias Jesso Jr here.

A Dream

I Dreamed

by Chuang Tzu

I dreamed.
I do not know how long I dreamed, or what came before.
The dream was my world and I was content within it.
And as I dreamed, a man spoke to me and said:
Once I dreamed I was a butterfly.
I knew I was a butterfly and did not know I was a man.
Suddenly I awoke, and there I was, visibly a man.
I do not know whether I was then a man dreaming I was a butterfly,
Or whether I am now a butterfly dreaming that I am a man.
I turned to ask the man what he meant by this,
But saw only my own reflection in a moonlit pool.
As I gazed upon the image, I was struck by how this man was me and yet not me.
While my hands were old and wizened, his were young and smooth.
While my skin was dark and rough, his was fair and soft.
Yet in his eyes I saw myself, or rather who I would be had I been born another.
Curious, I reached down to touch the shimmering surface.
It was then that I realized I was looking up through the pool
As he gazed down upon me from the world above.
Once again he spoke:
You are that which I would be but cannot.
You follow a path I dare not follow.
You live a life that I shall not lead, for I have chosen another.
You are one facet of my soul, among many.
Each with their own purpose, will, and spirit.
It is said that life is not a problem to be solved,
But a reality to be experienced.
This is truer for you than you know or can imagine.
With this, a cloud passed over the moon and the dream began to fade into darkness.
I am awakening.

A Poem about pain

Posted on Friday, January 30, 2015

It is in our Divine Nature
to suffer with the suffering
Not because we are pain
Not because God is pain
Not because the pain is a path
But because as the black in the trunk who took
one whipping felt pain
Not because he deserved whipping
Not because there was medicine in pain
Not because God was in that gesture
But because it was not
He felt pain

It is our Divine Nature to feel pain in this world
Suffer with the suffering
And to free ourselves knowing

"This is not God"
And God is always with me
God is always in my reach
God teaches me to move beyond suffering
God guides the one who is hurt
Because pain is not a path

We feel the pain that it is to be away from the Path
And God is good, good,
Goodness without measure
Without a whip
But eternally present
Careful and as a friend.

Go - A poem

Go

Go loose yourself in the world
Come back when you're younger
When I'm younger
When everything ahead are just beginnings
and beginnings
Go, get lost, come back younger

Goddess of the Night, a poem by Danna Faulds

GODDESS OF THE NIGHT
By Danna Faulds

The Goddess of the night speaks only in a quiet voice.
“Trust the movement of energy,” she says.
“Trust the opening of blossoms. Trust the wisdom that rises through you like sap flows through
trees in spring.
Trust that you can leave that which you no longer need . . .
Trust the coming of new insight.”

The Goddess pushes the cloud-hair from her eyes
And offers you a cup.
This is the chalise of life. The chalise of change and choice.
“Drink deeply”, she says. “And do not second guess yourself.
The only answers worth listening to are those that come from deep within.”

With the approach of dawn, the Goddess transforms herself in sunrise.
As the last stars fade from the sky, she speaks to us a final time.

“Trust your own immortal soul.
Trust what you know, and what you don’t.
Trust that you can do what is yours to do.
Trust life to bring you face-to-face with truth.”

Thoughts on being cohesive

Sylvette, 1954 by Pablo Picasso
Pablo Picasso - Sylvette

Be cohesive, be a brand! Share your content in a very edited way. I hear and see it ll the time. I'm not cohesive at all. I think a lot of people just put together stuff because it goes along well. In their pinboards, in their houses, in their blogs, in their lifes. They share lists not stories. Well, I'm not sure my man and my mother are that cohesive. I open books randomly to get advices from stories. My cat and dog are not best friends. My jeans don't go along well with my shirts. Or with my butt. But, I do have a wonderful life. It's not cohesive. It's not curated, or if it is its only by my heart. What connects everything in my life including all the persons in it it's me. I'm the only person that I really need to please with my choices.

Never leave anything on the side because it doens't seems to go along well with the rest. Probably it's a treasure. I miss seeing a random portrait by Picasso on the web, just illustrating a thought or a story. Not along with a pantone color catalogue or a list of clothes. Do I keep finding the same blog or do they all feel the same? I really need to edit my reading list...make it more cohesive...with my heart.
